   UCSF Medical Center, San Francisco, CA · with Dr. Scott Hansen, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

   • Ohio State Lead investigator on an IRB-approved retrospective cohort study (n > 150) of axillary reverse mapping to prevent post-mastectomy lymphedema in patients undergoing axillary lymph node dissection; first author on the manuscript in preparation.
   • UCSF Developed the implementation framework for outpatient injection-related soft tissue infection services in a safety-net setting, with a full cost-benefit and social-return-on-investment analysis. The service reaches 500+ patients a year. First author on both manuscripts, which are under review. Accepted to PSRC 2026.
   • UCSF 27,731 source rows reconciled into 5,939 encounters representing 3,464 patients; a 409-patient eligible cohort, with follow-up measured in 284; three prespecified and five sensitivity analyses.
   • Ohio State Retrospective cohort (n = 200+) on GLP-1 receptor agonist effects on BMI and lymphatic conditions, using multivariable regression and propensity score methods.
   • Systematic reviews: virtual surgical planning and 3D printing in hand surgery distal to the distal radius (40+ studies; first author; in preparation), and deep sternal wound infection management (60+ studies).
   • First-author abstract accepted to the California Society of Plastic Surgeons 2027 Annual Meeting.
